1 Corinthians 6

Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

15 Ref Have ye not known that your bodies are members of Christ? having taken, then, the members of the Christ, shall I make `them' members of an harlot? let it be not!

16 Ref have ye not known that he who is joined to the harlot is one body? `for they shall be -- saith He -- the two for one flesh.'

17 Ref And he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit;

18 Ref flee the whoredom; every sin -- whatever a man may commit -- is without the body, and he who is committing whoredom, against his own body doth sin.

19 Ref Have ye not known that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own,

20 Ref for ye were bought with a price; glorify, then, God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

American Standard-ASV1901 (ASV)

15 Ref Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ? shall I then take away the members of Christ, and make them members of a harlot? God forbid.

16 Ref Or know ye not that he that is joined to a harlot is one body? for, The twain, saith he, shall become one flesh.

17 Ref But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

18 Ref Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

19 Ref Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;

20 Ref for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body.

World English Bible (WEB)

15 Ref Don't you know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be!

16 Ref Or don't you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, "The two," says he, "will become one flesh."

17 Ref But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.

18 Ref Flee sexual immorality! "Every sin that a man does is outside the body," but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

19 Ref Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own,

20 Ref for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
