^{1 Ref} To the Overseer, for Jeduthun. -- A Psalm of David. Only -- toward God `is' my soul silent, From Him `is' my salvation.

^{2 Ref} Only -- He `is' my rock, and my salvation, My tower, I am not much moved.

^{3 Ref} Till when do ye devise mischief against a man? Ye are destroyed all of you, As a wall inclined, a hedge that is cast down.

^{4 Ref} Only -- from his excellency They have consulted to drive away, They enjoy a lie, with their mouth they bless, And with their heart revile. Selah.

^{5 Ref} Only -- for God, be silent, O my soul, For from Him `is' my hope.

^{6 Ref} Only -- He `is' my rock and my salvation, My tower, I am not moved.

^{7 Ref} On God `is' my salvation, and my honour, The rock of my strength, my refuge `is' in God.

^{8 Ref} Trust in Him at all times, O people, Pour forth before Him your heart, God `is' a refuge for us. Selah.

^{9 Ref} Only -- vanity `are' the low, a lie the high. In balances to go up they than vanity `are' lighter.

^{10 Ref} Trust not in oppression, And in robbery become not vain, Wealth -- when it increaseth -- set not the heart.

^{11 Ref} Once hath God spoken, twice I heard this, That `strength `is' with God.'

^{12 Ref} And with Thee, O Lord, `is' kindness, For Thou dost recompense to each, According to his work!

^{2 Ref} He only is my rock and my salvation: `He is' my high tower; I shall not be greatly moved.

^{3 Ref} How long will ye set upon a man, That ye may slay `him', all of you, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?

^{4 Ref} They only consult to thrust him down from his dignity; They delight in lies; They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah

^{5 Ref} My soul, wait thou in silence for God only; For my expectation is from him.

^{6 Ref} He only is my rock and my salvation: `He is' my high tower; I shall not be moved.

^{7 Ref} With God is my salvation and my glory: The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

^{8 Ref} Trust in him at all times, ye people; Pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah

^{9 Ref} Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: In the balances they will go up; They are together lighter than vanity.

^{10 Ref} Trust not in oppression, And become not vain in robbery: If riches increase, set not your heart `thereon'.

^{11 Ref} God hath spoken once, Twice have I heard this, That power belongeth unto God.

^{12 Ref} Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth lovingkindness; For thou renderest to every man according to his work. Psalm 63 A Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judah.
