¹⁶ Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance; And in thy book they were all written, `Even' the days that were ordained `for me', When as yet there was none of them.

¹⁷ How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!

¹⁸ If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: When I awake, I am still with thee.

¹ It is a good thing to give thanks unto Jehovah, And to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High;

² To show forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, And thy faithfulness every night,

² Bless Jehovah, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits:

⁶ Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; He will answer him from his holy heaven With the saving strength of his right hand.

⁶ Surely every man walketh in a vain show; Surely they are disquieted in vain: He heapeth up `riches', and knoweth not who shall gather them.

⁴⁵ And blessed `is' she that believed; for there shall be a fulfilment of the things which have been spoken to her from the Lord.

⁴ One thing have I asked of Jehovah, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of Jehovah, And to inquire in his temple.

³¹ The hoary head is a crown of glory; It shall be found in the way of righteousness.

⁵ For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a life-time: Weeping may tarry for the night, But joy `cometh' in the morning.

¹ Praise ye Jehovah. Oh give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; For his lovingkindness `endureth' forever.

³⁰ Grace is deceitful, and beauty is vain; `But' a woman that feareth Jehovah, she shall be praised.

¹⁰ I was cast upon thee from the womb; Thou art my God since my mother bare me.

⁷ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith:

¹ Blessed be Jehovah my rock, Who teacheth my hands to war, `And' my fingers to fight:

² My lovingkindness, and my fortress, My high tower, and my deliverer; My shield, and he in whom I take refuge; Who subdueth my people under me.

³ Jehovah, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that thou makest account of him?

⁶ Surely goodness and lovingkindness shall follow me all the days of my life; And I shall dwell in the house of Jehovah for ever. Psalm 24 A Psalm of David.

¹⁴ But thanks be unto God, who always leadeth us in triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest through us the savor of his knowledge in every place.

³ But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and guard you from the evil `one'.

¹¹ Be not far from me; for trouble is near; For there is none to help.

¹² So teach us to number our days, That we may get us a heart of wisdom.

³ I Jehovah am its keeper; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.

²⁴ This is the day which Jehovah hath made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
