^{1 Ref} A Psalm, by David. O Jehovah, I have called Thee, haste to me, Give ear `to' my voice when I call to Thee.

^{2 Ref} My prayer is prepared -- incense before Thee, The lifting up of my hands -- the evening present.

^{3 Ref} Set, O Jehovah, a watch for my mouth, Watch Thou over the door of my lips.

^{4 Ref} Incline not my heart to an evil thing, To do habitually actions in wickedness, With men working iniquity, Yea, I eat not of their pleasant things.

^{5 Ref} The righteous doth beat me `in' kindness. And doth reprove me, Oil of the head my head disalloweth not, For still my prayer `is' about their vexations.

^{6 Ref} Their judges have been released by the sides of a rock, And they have heard my sayings, For they have been pleasant.

^{7 Ref} As one tilling and ripping up in the land, Have our bones been scattered at the command of Saul.

^{8 Ref} But to Thee, O Jehovah, my Lord, `are' mine eyes, In Thee I have trusted, Make not bare my soul.

^{9 Ref} Keep me from the gin they laid for me, Even snares of workers of iniquity.

^{10 Ref} The wicked fall in their nets together, till I pass over!

^{1 Ref} > Yahweh, I have called on you. Come to me quickly! Listen to my voice when I call to you.

^{2 Ref} Let my prayer be set before you like incense; The lifting up of my hands like the evening sacrifice.

^{3 Ref} Set a watch, Yahweh, before my mouth. Keep the door of my lips.

^{4 Ref} Don't incline my heart to any evil thing, To practice deeds of wickedness with men who work iniquity. Don't let me eat of their delicacies.

^{5 Ref} Let the righteous strike me, it is kindness; Let him reprove me, it is like oil on the head; Don't let my head refuse it; Yet my prayer is always against evil deeds.

^{6 Ref} Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock. They will hear my words, for they are well spoken.

^{7 Ref} "As when one plows and breaks up the earth, Our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol."

^{8 Ref} For my eyes are on you, Yahweh, the Lord. In you, I take refuge. Don't leave my soul destitute.

^{9 Ref} Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, From the traps of the workers of iniquity.

^{10 Ref} Let the wicked fall together into their own nets, While I pass by.
