⁹ Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with a perfect heart they offered willingly to Jehovah: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

⁷ `Let' each man `do' according as he hath purposed in his heart: not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

⁸ And God is able to make all grace abound unto you; that ye, having always all sufficiency in everything, may abound unto every good work:

³ For according to their power, I bear witness, yea and beyond their power, `they gave' of their own accord,

⁶¹ Let your heart therefore be perfect with Jehovah our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.

¹⁰ But I rejoice in the Lord greatly, that now at length ye have revived your thought for me; wherein ye did indeed take thought, but ye lacked opportunity.

¹¹ These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy may be in you, and `that' your joy may be made full.

¹⁷ I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, that are present here, offer willingly unto thee.

⁶ But when Timothy came even now unto us from you, and brought us glad tidings of your faith and love, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, longing to see us, even as we also `to see' you;

⁷ for this cause, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our distress and affliction through your faith:

⁸ for now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.

⁹ For what thanksgiving can we render again unto God for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;

¹ Wherefore, my brethren beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my beloved.

¹² For if the readiness is there, `it is' acceptable according as `a man' hath, not according as `he' hath not.

⁶ And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and his neighbors, saying unto them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.

¹⁵ My son, if thy heart be wise, My heart will be glad, even mine:

¹⁶ Yea, my heart will rejoice, When thy lips speak right things.

³ Thy people offer themselves willingly In the day of thy power, in holy array: Out of the womb of the morning Thou hast the dew of thy youth.

⁹ My heart is toward the governors of Israel, That offered themselves willingly among the people: Bless ye Jehovah.

¹⁰ And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto Jehovah thy God with a tribute of a freewill-offering of thy hand, which thou shalt give, according as Jehovah thy God blesseth thee:

¹¹ and thou shalt rejoice before Jehovah thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy man-servant, and thy maid-servant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the sojourner, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are in the midst of thee, in the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.
