⁴² O Jehovah God, turn not away the face of thine anointed: remember `thy' lovingkindnesses to David thy servant.

³ Incline your ear, and come unto me; hear, and your soul shall live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

¹ Jehovah, remember for David All his affliction;

³⁴ And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he hath spoken on this wise, I will give you the holy and sure `blessings' of David.

¹ The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me; because Jehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening `of the prison' to them that are bound;

¹⁰ For thy servant David's sake Turn not away the face of thine anointed.

²⁸ My lovingkindness will I keep for him for evermore; And my covenant shall stand fast with him.

²⁴ But my faithfulness and my lovingkindness shall be with him; And in my name shall his horn be exalted.

² The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against Jehovah, and against his anointed, `saying',

¹⁶ And now I ask one petition of thee; deny me not. And she said unto him, Say on.

³⁴ and let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there king over Israel; and blow ye the trumpet, and say, `Long' live king Solomon.
