⁹ So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariots, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.

¹² And Jehoshaphat said, The word of Jehovah is with him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

³² But Elisha was sitting in his house, and the elders were sitting with him; and `the king' sent a man from before him: but ere the messenger came to him, he said to the elders, See ye how this son of a murderer hath sent to take away my head? look, when the messenger cometh, shut the door, and hold the door fast against him: is not the sound of his master's feet behind him?

¹⁴ And the sons of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee The city of Jehovah, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

²⁹ And he called for lights and sprang in, and, trembling for fear, fell down before Paul and Silas,

³⁰ and brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

³⁷ But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us publicly, uncondemned, men that are Romans, and have cast us into prison; and do they now cast us out privily? Nay verily; but let them come themselves and bring us out.

³⁸ And the sergeants reported these words unto the magistrates: and they feared when they heard that they were Romans;

³⁹ and they came and besought them; and when they had brought them out, they asked them to go away from the city.
