¹⁰ He bowed the heavens also, and came down; And thick darkness was under his feet.

¹² Then spake Solomon, Jehovah hath said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

² Clouds and darkness are round about him: Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

⁵ Bow thy heavens, O Jehovah, and come down: Touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.

²¹ And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

⁴⁴ And it was now about the sixth hour, and a darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour,

⁴⁵ the sun's light failing: and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

⁴⁵ Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.

³ Jehovah is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means clear `the guilty': Jehovah hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

¹ Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might quake at thy presence,

² as when fire kindleth the brushwood, `and' the fire causeth the waters to boil; to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!

³ When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains quaked at thy presence.

³ Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters; Who maketh the clouds his chariot; Who walketh upon the wings of the wind;

¹¹ And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the heart of heaven, with darkness, cloud, and thick darkness.
