⁹ And David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said unto them, As Jehovah liveth, who hath redeemed my soul out of all adversity,

²⁹ And the king sware, and said, As Jehovah liveth, who hath redeemed my soul out of all adversity,

¹⁶ the angel who hath redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

¹⁷ But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me; that through me the message might me fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

¹⁸ The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom `be' the glory forever and ever. Amen.

² Let the redeemed of Jehovah say `so', Whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary,

¹⁰ And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

⁴ Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

²³ My lips shall shout for joy when I sing praises unto thee; And my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

¹⁷ `The righteous' cried, and Jehovah heard, And delivered them out of all their troubles.

⁶ This poor man cried, and Jehovah heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.

⁷ The angel of Jehovah encampeth round about them that fear him, And delivereth them.

⁵ Into thy hand I commend my spirit: Thou hast redeemed me, O Jehovah, thou God of truth.

⁶ I hate them that regard lying vanities; But I trust in Jehovah.

⁷ I will be glad and rejoice in thy lovingkindness; For thou hast seen my affliction: Thou hast known my soul in adversities;
