²³ And when David inquired of Jehovah, he said, Thou shalt not go up: make a circuit behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry-trees.

² And thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king: only the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: set thee an ambush for the city behind it.

⁷ and ye shall rise up from the ambush, and take possession of the city: for Jehovah your God will deliver it into your hand.

¹⁴ And David inquired again of God; and God said unto him, Thou shalt not go up after them: turn away from them, and come upon them over against the mulberry-trees.

²³ And when he was entered into a boat, his disciples followed him.

²⁴ And behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the boat was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

²⁵ And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Save, Lord; we perish.

²⁹ Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it done unto you.

³⁰ And their eyes were opened. And Jesus strictly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.

⁶ When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and anointed his eyes with the clay,

⁷ and said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam (which is by interpretation, Sent). He went away therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
