⁵⁰ and die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:

⁸ And Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full `of years', and was gathered to his people.

³⁸ And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of Jehovah, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.

¹⁵ But thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

¹⁷ And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, a hundred and thirty and seven years. And he gave up the ghost and died, and was gathered unto his people.

³³ And when Jacob made an end of charging his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people.

²⁴ Aaron shall be gathered unto his people; for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the waters of Meribah.

²⁵ Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto mount Hor;

²⁶ and strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered `unto his people', and shall die there.

²⁷ And Moses did as Jehovah commanded: and they went up into mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation.

²⁸ And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there on the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount.

²⁹ And when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they wept for Aaron thirty days, even all the house of Israel.

¹³ But go thou thy way till the end be; for thou shalt rest, and shalt stand in thy lot, at the end of the days.
