²⁰ But Jehovah hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go.

²¹ And Jehovah said unto Moses, When thou goest back into Egypt, see that thou do before Pharaoh all the wonders which I have put in thy hand: but I will harden his heart and he will not let the people go.

¹⁰ And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and Jehovah hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.

¹³ And Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as Jehovah had spoken.

¹⁴ And Jehovah said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is stubborn, he refuseth to let the people go.

¹² And Jehovah hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them, as Jehovah had spoken unto Moses.

³⁰ But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him; for Jehovah thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as at this day.

⁹ And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

¹⁰ Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they sea with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed.

³⁹ For this cause they could not believe, for that Isaiah said again,

⁴⁰ He hath blinded their eyes, and he hardened their heart; Lest they should see with their eyes, and perceive with their heart, And should turn, And I should heal them.

¹⁸ So then he hath mercy on whom he will, and whom he will be hardeneth.

¹¹ And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie:

¹² that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
