²⁸ And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, even all the host of Pharaoh that went in after them into the sea; there remained not so much as one of them.

¹³ Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, For the salvation of thine anointed; Thou woundest the head out of the house of the wicked man, Laying bare the foundation even unto the neck. Selah.

⁸ Was Jehovah displeased with the rivers? Was thine anger against the rivers, Or thy wrath against the sea, That thou didst ride upon thy horses, Upon thy chariots of salvation?

⁹ Thy bow was made quite bare; The oaths to the tribes were a `sure' word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.

¹⁰ The mountains saw thee, and were afraid; The tempest of waters passed by; The deep uttered its voice, And lifted up its hands on high.

⁵³ And he led them safely, so that they feared not; But the sea overwhelmed their enemies.

²⁹ By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were swallowed up.

¹⁵ But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever:

⁹ He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it was dried up: So he led them through the depths, as through a wilderness.

¹⁰ And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

¹¹ And the waters covered their adversaries; There was not one of them left.

¹¹ And thou didst divide the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; and their pursuers thou didst cast into the depths, as a stone into the mighty waters.

²⁴ And when Judah came to the watch-tower of the wilderness, they looked upon the multitude; and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and there were none that escaped.

⁴ and what he did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red Sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how Jehovah hath destroyed them unto this day;

¹⁰ Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: They sank as lead in the mighty waters.

¹³ And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of Jehovah, which he will work for you to-day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to-day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
