²² But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall despoil the Egyptians.

¹⁰ so that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall make fires of the weapons; and they shall plunder those that plundered them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord Jehovah.

² Speak now in the ears of the people, and let them ask every man of his neighbor, and every woman of her neighbor, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold.

¹⁴ and also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

³⁷ And he brought them forth with silver and gold; And there was not one feeble person among his tribes.

³⁵ And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment.

³⁶ And Jehovah gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. And they despoiled the Egyptians.

¹⁶ Though he heap up silver as the dust, And prepare raiment as the clay;

¹⁷ He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, And the innocent shall divide the silver.

²² A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children; And the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.

¹ Woe to thee that destroyest, and thou wast not destroyed; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! When thou hast ceased to destroy, thou shalt be destroyed; and when thou hast made an end of dealing treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
