¹ And he made the altar of burnt-offering of acacia wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof, foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof.

¹ And thou shalt make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits.

² And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof; the horns thereof shall be of one piece with it: and thou shalt overlay it with brass.

³ And thou shalt make its pots to take away its ashes, and its shovels, and its basins, and its flesh-hooks, and its firepans: all the vessels thereof thou shalt make of brass.

⁴ And thou shalt make for it a grating of network of brass: and upon the net shalt thou make four brazen rings in the four corners thereof.

⁵ And thou shalt put it under the ledge round the altar beneath, that the net may reach halfway up the altar.

⁶ And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of acacia wood, and overlay them with brass.

⁷ And the staves thereof shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, in bearing it.

⁸ Hollow with planks shalt thou make it: as it hath been showed thee in the mount, so shall they make it.

¹⁶ And the city lieth foursquare, and the length thereof is as great as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs: the length and the breadth and the height thereof are equal.

⁵ ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

¹⁰ We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat that serve the tabernacle.

⁸ Jesus Christ `is' the same yesterday and to-day, `yea' and for ever.

¹⁴ how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish unto God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

¹ Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, `even' Jesus;

¹ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, `which is' your spiritual service.

³ For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

⁴ that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

³⁷ All that which the Father giveth me shall come unto me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

¹³ And these are the measures of the altar by cubits (the cubit is a cubit and a handbreadth): the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about a span; and this shall be the base of the altar.

¹⁴ And from the bottom upon the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser ledge to the greater ledge shall be four cubits, and the breadth a cubit.

¹⁵ And the upper altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar hearth and upward there shall be four horns.

¹⁶ And the altar hearth shall be twelve `cubits' long by twelve broad, square in the four sides thereof.

¹⁷ And the ledge shall be fourteen `cubits' long by fourteen broad in the four sides thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit round about; and the steps thereof shall look toward the east.

¹ Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.

²⁹ And he set the altar of burnt-offering at the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered upon it the burnt-offering and the meal-offering; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

⁶ And thou shalt set the altar of burnt-offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.
