²⁹ And he set the altar of burnt-offering at the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered upon it the burnt-offering and the meal-offering; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

⁶ And thou shalt set the altar of burnt-offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.

¹ And thou shalt make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits.

² And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof; the horns thereof shall be of one piece with it: and thou shalt overlay it with brass.

³ And thou shalt make its pots to take away its ashes, and its shovels, and its basins, and its flesh-hooks, and its firepans: all the vessels thereof thou shalt make of brass.

⁴ And thou shalt make for it a grating of network of brass: and upon the net shalt thou make four brazen rings in the four corners thereof.

⁵ And thou shalt put it under the ledge round the altar beneath, that the net may reach halfway up the altar.

⁶ And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of acacia wood, and overlay them with brass.

⁷ And the staves thereof shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, in bearing it.

⁸ Hollow with planks shalt thou make it: as it hath been showed thee in the mount, so shall they make it.

³⁸ Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar: two lambs a year old day by day continually.

³⁹ The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:

⁴⁰ and with the one lamb a tenth part `of an ephah' of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil, and the fourth part of a hin of wine for a drink-offering.

⁴¹ And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meal-offering of the morning, and according to the drink-offering thereof, for a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

⁴² It shall be a continual burnt-offering throughout your generations at the door of the tent of meeting before Jehovah, where I will meet with you, to speak there unto thee.

⁴³ And there I will meet with the children of Israel; and `the Tent' shall be sanctified by my glory.

⁴⁴ And I will sanctify the tent of meeting, and the altar: Aaron also and his sons will I sanctify, to minister to me in the priest's office.

⁴⁵ And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.

⁴⁶ And they shall know that I am Jehovah their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them: I am Jehovah their God.

² And he made the horns thereof upon the four corners of it; the horns thereof were of one piece with it: and he overlaid it with brass.

³ And he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basins, the flesh-hooks, and the firepans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass.

⁴ And he made for the altar a grating of network of brass, under the ledge round it beneath, reaching halfway up.

⁵ And he cast four rings for the four ends of the grating of brass, to be places for the staves.

⁶ And he made the staves of acacia wood, and overlaid them with brass.

⁷ And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, wherewith to bear it; he made it hollow with planks.

²⁴ being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

²⁵ whom God set forth `to be' a propitiation, through faith, in his blood, to show his righteousness because of the passing over of the sins done aforetime, in the forbearance of God;

²⁶ for the showing, `I say', of his righteousness at this present season: that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him that hath faith in Jesus.

¹² nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption.

⁵ Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee.

⁶ So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do unto me?

¹⁰ We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat that serve the tabernacle.

¹⁹ Ye blind: for which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
