²⁹ And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto Jehovah; the thunders shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know that the earth is Jehovah's.

²⁶ for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.

¹⁵ And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you; yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

⁶ I spread forth my hands unto thee: My soul `thirsteth' after thee, as a weary land. Selah

³⁸ what prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, `or' by all thy people Israel, who shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:

²² And Solomon stood before the altar of Jehovah in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven;

¹⁴ Behold, unto Jehovah thy God belongeth heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth, with all that is therein.

²⁸ But if any man say unto you, This hath been offered in sacrifice, eat not, for his sake that showed it, and for conscience sake:

⁶ Whatsoever Jehovah pleased, that hath he done, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;

⁴ In his hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the mountains are his also.

⁵ The sea is his, and he made it; And his hands formed the dry land.

¹² If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; For the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

¹ The earth is Jehovah's, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein.

² For he hath founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the floods.

¹³ If thou set thy heart aright, And stretch out thy hands toward him;

⁵ And at the evening oblation I arose up from my humiliation, even with my garment and my robe rent; and I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto Jehovah my God;

¹² And he stood before the altar of Jehovah in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread forth his hands;

¹³ (for Solomon had made a brazen scaffold, five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court; and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all the assembly of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven;)

⁵ Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be mine own possession from among all peoples: for all the earth is mine:

³³ And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands unto Jehovah: and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.
