²¹ Every one had four faces, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

⁶ And every one had four faces, and every one of them had four wings.

¹⁴ And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of the cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third face the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

¹⁸ And it was made with cherubim and palm-trees; and a palm-tree was between cherub and cherub, and every cherub had two faces;

¹⁹ so that there was the face of a man toward the palm-tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm-tree on the other side. `thus was it' made through all the house round about:

⁸ And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings `thus':

⁹ their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.

¹⁰ As for the likeness of their faces, they had the face of a man; and they four had the face of a lion on the right side; and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four had also the face of an eagle.

⁷ And the first creature `was' like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face as of a man, and the fourth creature `was' like a flying eagle.
