³⁵ The children of the captivity, that were come out of exile, offered burnt-offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he-goats for a sin-offering: all this was a burnt-offering unto Jehovah.

¹⁷ And they offered at the dedication of this house of God a hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin-offering for all Israel, twelve he-goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.

¹ And Jehovah called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tent of meeting, saying,

² Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man of you offereth an oblation unto Jehovah, ye shall offer your oblation of the cattle, `even' of the herd and of the flock.

³ If his oblation be a burnt-offering of the herd, he shall offer it a male without blemish: he shall offer it at the door of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before Jehovah.

⁴ And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the burnt-offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

⁵ And he shall kill the bullock before Jehovah: and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall present the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is at the door of the tent of meeting.

⁶ And he shall flay the burnt-offering, and cut it into its pieces.

⁷ And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay wood in order upon the fire;

²⁷ one young bullock, one ram, one he-lamb a year old, for a burnt-offering;

³¹ Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto Jehovah; come near and bring sacrifices and thank-offerings into the house of Jehovah. And the assembly brought in sacrifices and thank-offerings; and as many as were of a willing heart `brought' burnt-offerings.

³² And the number of the burnt-offerings which the assembly brought was threescore and ten bullocks, a hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt-offering to Jehovah.

¹ Now these are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and that returned unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;

¹⁰ For thou, O God, hast proved us: Thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

¹¹ Thou broughtest us into the net; Thou layedst a sore burden upon our loins.

¹² Thou didst cause men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

¹³ I will come into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will pay thee my vows,

¹⁴ Which my lips uttered, And my mouth spake, when I was in distress.

¹⁵ I will offer unto thee burnt-offerings of fatlings, With the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah

¹² What shall I render unto Jehovah For all his benefits toward me?

¹³ I will take the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of Jehovah.

¹⁴ I will pay my vows unto Jehovah, Yea, in the presence of all his people.

¹⁵ Precious in the sight of Jehovah Is the death of his saints.

¹⁶ O Jehovah, truly I am thy servant: I am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bonds.

¹⁷ I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of Jehovah.

¹⁸ I will pay my vows unto Jehovah, Yea, in the presence of all his people,

¹⁹ In the courts of Jehovah's house, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye Jehovah.

⁷⁴ To grant unto us that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies Should serve him without fear,

⁷⁵ In holiness and righteousness before him all our days.
