²⁹ And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food:

¹⁵ The eyes of all wait for thee; And thou givest them their food in due season.

¹⁶ Thou openest thy hand, And satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

³ Every moving thing that liveth shall be food for you; As the green herb have I given you all.

²⁸ for in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain even of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

²⁵ Who giveth food to all flesh; For his lovingkindness `endureth' for ever.

¹⁴ He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, And herb for the service of man; That he may bring forth food out of the earth,

¹⁵ And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, `And' oil to make his face to shine, And bread that strengtheneth man's heart.

²⁵ Therefore I say unto you, be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment?

²⁶ Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye of much more value then they?

¹⁷ And yet He left not himself without witness, in that he did good and gave you from heaven rains and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness.

²⁴ The God that made the world and all things therein, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

²⁵ neither is he served by men's hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

¹⁷ Charge them that are rich in this present world, that they be not highminded, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

¹¹ Give us this day our daily bread.

⁸ For she did not know that I gave her the grain, and the new wine, and the oil, and multiplied unto her silver and gold, which they used for Baal.

³¹ For by these he judgeth the peoples; He giveth food in abundance.

¹ The earth is Jehovah's, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein.

²⁷ These wait all for thee, That thou mayest give them their food in due season.

²⁸ Thou givest unto them, they gather; Thou openest thy hand, they are satisfied with good.

⁵ He hath given food unto them that fear him: He will ever be mindful of his covenant.

¹⁶ The heavens are the heavens of Jehovah; But the earth hath he given to the children of men.

⁷ Who executeth justice for the oppressed; Who giveth food to the hungry. Jehovah looseth the prisoners;

⁹ He giveth to the beast his food, `And' to the young ravens which cry.

¹⁶ He shall dwell on high; his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks; his bread shall be given `him'; his waters shall be sure.

¹⁶ And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
