⁶ and the Horites in their mount Seir, unto Elparan, which is by the wilderness.

²² as he did for the children of Esau, that dwell in Seir, when he destroyed the Horites from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:

¹² The Horites also dwelt in Seir aforetime, but the children of Esau succeeded them; and they destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which Jehovah gave unto them.)

²¹ And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran. And his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

³ And Moses sent them from the wilderness of Paran according to the commandment of Jehovah: all of them men who were heads of the children of Israel.

¹⁶ And afterward the people journeyed from Hazeroth, and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.

³ God came from Teman, And the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, And the earth was full of his praise.

³⁸ And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.

³⁹ And the sons of Lotan: Hori, and Homam; and Timna was Lotan's sister.

⁴⁰ The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah.

⁴¹ The sons of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

⁴² The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.

¹² And the children of Israel set forward according to their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud abode in the wilderness of Paran.

²⁰ These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah,

²¹ and Dishon and Ezer and Dishan: these are the chiefs that came of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.

²² And the children of Lotan were Hori and Heman. And Lotan's sister was Timna.

²³ And these are the children of Shobal: Alvan and Manahath and Ebal, Shepho and Onam.

²⁴ And these are the children of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah; this is Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.

²⁵ And these are the children of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah.

²⁶ And these are the children of Dishon: Hemdan and Eshban and Ithran and Cheran.

²⁷ These are the children of Ezer: Bilhan and Zaavan and Akan.

²⁸ These are the children of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

²⁹ These are the chiefs that came of the Horites: chief Lotan, chief Shobal, chief Zibeon, chief Anah,

³⁰ chief Dishon, chief Ezer, chief Dishan: these are the chiefs that came of the Horites, according to their chiefs in the land of Seir.

⁸ And Esau dwelt in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.

⁷ And the angel of Jehovah found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.
