² And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every bird of the heavens; With all wherewith the ground teemeth, and all the fishes of the sea, into your hand are they delivered.

⁷ For every kind of beasts and birds, of creeping things and things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed by mankind.

¹⁸ And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the birds of the heavens, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the land, and will make them to lie down safely.

²⁵ And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land; and they shall dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

²⁰ Thou makest darkness, and it is night, Wherein all the beasts of the forest creep forth.

²¹ The young lions roar after their prey, And seek their food from God.

²² The sun ariseth, they get them away, And lay them down in their dens.

²³ Man goeth forth unto his work And to his labor until the evening.

⁴ What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him?

⁵ For thou hast made him but little lower than God, And crownest him with glory and honor.

⁶ Thou makest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet:

⁷ All sheep and oxen, Yea, and the beasts of the field,

⁸ The birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, Whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

²² At destruction and dearth thou shalt laugh; Neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.

²³ For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field; And the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.

²² And I will send the beast of the field among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your ways shall become desolate.

⁶ And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

⁵ And they journeyed: and a terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.

¹⁹ And out of the ground Jehovah God formed every beast of the field, and every bird of the heavens; and brought them unto the man to see what he would call them: and whatsoever the man called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

²⁸ And God blessed them: and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
