¹³ And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold, I and the children whom God hath given me.

¹⁷ And I will wait for Jehovah, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

¹⁸ Behold, I and the children whom Jehovah hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from Jehovah of hosts, who dwelleth in mount Zion.

² Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Jehovah, `even' Jehovah, is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation.

²⁹ My Father, who hath given `them' unto me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch `them' out of the Father's hand.

² Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

¹⁵ For though ye have ten thousand tutors in Christ, yet `have ye' not many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I begat you through the gospel.

⁶ I manifested thy name unto the men whom thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word.

⁷ Now they know that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are from thee:

⁸ for the words which thou gavest me I have given unto them; and they received `them', and knew of a truth that I came forth from thee, and they believed that thou didst send me.

⁹ I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for those whom thou hast given me; for they are thine:

¹⁰ and all things that are mine are thine, and thine are mine: and I am glorified in them.

¹¹ And I am no more in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we `are'.

¹² While I was with them, I kept them in thy name which thou hast given me: and I guarded them, and not one of them perished, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

⁴³ He trusteth on God; let him deliver him now, if he desireth him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

¹⁰ Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see `his' seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in his hand.

⁷ For the Lord Jehovah will help me; therefore have I not been confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame.

⁸ He is near that justifieth me; who will content with me? let us stand up together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.

⁹ Behold, the Lord Jehovah will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? behold, all they shall wax old as a garment, the moth shall eat them up.

³ Lo, children are a heritage of Jehovah; `And' the fruit of the womb is `his' reward.

² I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.

⁷ How precious is thy lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.

⁸ They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; And thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

¹ Preserve me, O God; for in thee do I take refuge.

³ God, my rock, in him will I take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge; My saviour, thou savest me from violence.

⁹ And Joseph said unto his father, They are my sons, whom God hath given me here. And he said, Bring them, I pray thee, unto me, and I will bless them.

⁵ And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are these with thee? And he said, The children whom God hath graciously given thy servant.
