¹⁴ I will ransom them from the power of Sheol; I will redeem them from death: O death, where are thy plagues? O Sheol, where is thy destruction? repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

⁸ He hath swallowed up death for ever; and the Lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the reproach of his people will he take away from off all the earth: for Jehovah hath spoken it.

⁴ and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away.

¹⁹ Thy dead shall live; my dead bodies shall arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in the dust; for thy dew is `as' the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast forth the dead.

¹⁵ But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol; For he will receive me. Selah

¹⁰ For thou wilt not leave my soul to Sheol; Neither wilt thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption.

³ O Jehovah, thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol; Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

²¹ For since by man `came' death, by man `came' also the resurrection of the dead.

²² For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.

¹³ And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning.

¹⁴ For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also that are fallen asleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

²¹ who shall fashion anew the body of our humiliation, `that it may be' conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working whereby he is able even to subject all things unto himself.

⁴ For indeed we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened; not for that we would be unclothed, but that we would be clothed upon, that what is mortal may be swallowed up of life.

⁵² in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

⁵³ For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

⁵⁴ But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

⁵⁵ O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?

⁵⁶ The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law:

⁵⁷ but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁹ For the gifts and the calling of God are not repented of.

²⁹ And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent; for he is not a man, that he should repent.

²⁵ But as for me I know that my Redeemer liveth, And at last he will stand up upon the earth:

²⁶ And after my skin, `even' this `body', is destroyed, Then without my flesh shall I see God;

²⁷ Whom I, even I, shall see, on my side, And mine eyes shall behold, and not as a stranger. My heart is consumed within me.

²⁴ Then `God' is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.

²⁰ Thou, who hast showed us many and sore troubles, Wilt quicken us again, And wilt bring us up again from the depths of the earth.

¹³ For great is thy lovingkindness toward me; And thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.

⁶ Thou hast rejected me, saith Jehovah, thou art gone backward: therefore have I stretched out my hand against thee, and destroyed thee; I am weary with repenting.

¹¹ Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are clean cut off.

¹² Therefore prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, O my people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel.

¹³ And ye shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have opened your graves, and caused you to come up out of your graves, O my people.

¹⁴ And I will put my Spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I will place you in your own land: and ye shall know that I, Jehovah, have spoken it and performed it, saith Jehovah.

² After two days will he revive us: on the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live before him.

⁶ For I, Jehovah, change not; therefore ye, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.

¹⁵ For if the casting away of them `is' the reconciling of the world, what `shall' the receiving `of them be', but life from the dead?

¹⁹ God is not a man, that he should lie, Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and will he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and will he not make it good?
