¹⁹ We are become as they over whom thou never barest rule, as they that were not called by thy name.

⁶ Pour out thy wrath upon the nations that know thee not, And upon the kingdoms that call not upon thy name.

⁴ For Jehovah hath chosen Jacob unto himself, `And' Israel for his own possession.

¹ I am inquired of by them that asked not `for me'; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.

²⁵ Pour out thy wrath upon the nations that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have devoured Jacob, yea, they have devoured him and consumed him, and have laid waste his habitation.

¹² that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations that are called by my name, saith Jehovah that doeth this.

¹⁶ who in the generations gone by suffered all the nations to walk in their own ways.

¹⁷ That the residue of men may seek after the Lord, And all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called,

⁴ who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service `of God', and the promises;

¹² that ye were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
