³⁰ I know his wrath, saith Jehovah, that it is nought; his boastings have wrought nothing.

³⁶ A sword is upon the boasters, and they shall become fools; a sword is upon her mighty men, and they shall be dismayed.

¹² Behold, he seizeth `the prey', who can hinder him? Who will say unto him, What doest thou?

¹³ God will not withdraw his anger; The helpers of Rahab do stoop under him.

¹⁰ Jehovah bringeth the counsel of the nations to nought; He maketh the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.

³⁰ There is no wisdom nor understanding Nor counsel against Jehovah.

⁶ We have heard of the pride of Moab, `that' he is very proud; even of his arrogancy, and his pride, and his wrath; his boastings are nought.

²⁸ But I know thy sitting down, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy raging against me.

²⁹ Because of thy raging against me, and because thine arrogancy is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.
