¹⁰ and saith unto him, Every man setteth on first the good wine; and when `men' have drunk freely, `then' that which is worse: thou hast kept the good wine until now.

¹⁶ They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun strike upon them, nor any heat:

¹⁷ for the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne shall be their shepherd, and shall guide them unto fountains of waters of life: and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.

¹ Wisdom hath builded her house; She hath hewn out her seven pillars:

² She hath killed her beasts; She hath mingled her wine; She hath also furnished her table:

³ She hath sent forth her maidens; She crieth upon the highest places of the city:

⁴ Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: As for him that is void of understanding, she saith to him,

⁵ Come, eat ye of my bread, And drink of the wine which I have mingled.

⁶ Leave off, ye simple ones, and live; And walk in the way of understanding.

²⁵ But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and Lazarus in like manner evil things: but now here he is comforted and thou art in anguish.

³⁴ And he took `and sent' messes unto them from before him: but Benjamin's mess was five times so much as any of theirs. And they drank, and were merry with him.

¹⁵ And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, `And' oil to make his face to shine, And bread that strengtheneth man's heart.

¹⁶ Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither; And as for him that is void of understanding, she saith to him,

¹⁷ Stolen waters are sweet, And bread `eaten' in secret is pleasant.

¹⁸ But he knoweth not that the dead are there; That her guests are in the depths of Sheol.

¹ I am come into my garden, my sister, `my' bride: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. Eat, O friends; Drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.
