³⁵ And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also scoffed at him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if this is the Christ of God, his chosen.

¹ Behold, my servant, whom I uphold; my chosen, in whom my soul delighteth: I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

¹⁷ I may count all my bones; They look and stare upon me.

⁴ unto whom coming, a living stone, rejected indeed of men, but with God elect, precious,

¹⁴ And the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, heard all these things; and they scoffed at him.

¹⁸ Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; My beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit upon him, And he shall declare judgment to the Gentiles.

¹⁰ And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born.

¹⁷ and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

³⁸ Then are there crucified with him two robbers, one on the right hand and one on the left.

³⁹ And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads,

⁴⁰ and saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself: if thou art the Son of God, come down from the cross.

⁴¹ In like manner also the chief priests mocking `him', with the scribes and elders, said,

⁴² He saved others; himself he cannot save. He is the King of Israel; let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe on him.

⁴³ He trusteth on God; let him deliver him now, if he desireth him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

²⁹ And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ha! Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,

³⁰ save thyself, and come down from the cross.

³¹ In like manner also the chief priests mocking `him' among themselves with the scribes said, He saved others; himself he cannot save.

³² Let the Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reproached him.

⁶⁷ If thou art the Christ, tell us. But he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:

⁶⁸ and if I ask `you', ye will not answer.

⁶⁹ But from henceforth shall the Son of man be seated at the right hand of the power of God.

⁷⁰ And they all said, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.

¹⁴ I am become a derision to all my people, and their song all the day.

³ He was despised, and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and as one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we esteemed him not.

² O ye sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonor? `How long' will ye love vanity, and seek after falsehood? Selah

⁶ But I am a worm, and no man; A reproach of men, and despised of the people.

⁷ All they that see me laugh me to scorn: They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, `saying',

⁸ Commit `thyself' unto Jehovah; Let him deliver him: Let him rescue him, seeing he delighteth in him.

¹² Many bulls have compassed me; Strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

¹³ They gape upon me with their mouth, `As' a ravening and a roaring lion.

¹⁵ But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: The abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew `it' not; They did tear me, and ceased not:

¹⁹ Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; Neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

²⁰ For they speak not peace; But they devise deceitful words against them that are quiet in the land.

²¹ Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me; They said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.

²² Thou hast seen it, O Jehovah; keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.

²³ Stir up thyself, and awake to the justice `due' unto me, `Even' unto my cause, my God and my Lord.

²⁴ Judge me, O Jehovah my God, according to thy righteousness; And let them not rejoice over me.

²⁵ Let them not say in their heart, Aha, so would we have it: Let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

⁷ Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; Shame hath covered my face.

⁸ I am become a stranger unto my brethren, And an alien unto my mother's children.

⁹ For the zeal of thy house hath eaten me up; And the reproaches of them that reproach thee are fallen upon me.

¹⁰ When I wept, `and chastened' my soul with fasting, That was to my reproach.

¹¹ When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword unto them.

¹² They that sit in the gate talk of me; And `I am' the song of the drunkards.

²⁶ For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; And they tell of the sorrow of those whom thou hast wounded.

¹¹ Saying, God hath forsaken him: Pursue and take him; for there is none to deliver.

⁷ Thus saith Jehovah, the Redeemer of Israel, `and' his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers: Kings shall see and arise; princes, and they shall worship; because of Jehovah that is faithful, `even' the Holy One of Israel, who hath chosen thee.

¹⁹ And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.

²⁰ Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into one of the pits, and we will say, And evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.
