⁵ And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, Jehovah be magnified beyond the border of Israel.

³ Your eyes have seen what Jehovah did because of Baal-peor; for all the men that followed Baal-peor, Jehovah thy God hath destroyed them from the midst of thee.

⁴ And he shall stand, and shall feed `his flock' in the strength of Jehovah, in the majesty of the name of Jehovah his God: and they shall abide; for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

²¹ And I will set my glory among the nations; and all the nations shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

²² So the house of Israel shall know that I am Jehovah their God, from that day and forward.

²³ And I will magnify myself, and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.

¹⁶ and thou shalt come up against my people Israel, as a cloud to cover the land: it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring thee against my land, that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

¹⁷ Let them be put to shame and dismayed for ever; Yea, let them be confounded and perish;

²⁷ Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: Yea, let them say continually, Jehovah be magnified, Who hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

⁸ Wherefore the wrath of Jehovah was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them to be tossed to and fro, to be an astonishment, and a hissing, as ye see with your eyes.

¹⁶ Now therefore stand still and see this great thing, which Jehovah will do before your eyes.

⁷ And when they cried out unto Jehovah, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and your eyes saw what I did in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the wilderness many days.

⁷ but your eyes have seen all the great work of Jehovah which he did.

²³ And turning to the disciples, he said privately, Blessed `are' the eyes which see the things that ye see:

²⁴ for I say unto you, that many prophets and kings desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.
