¹² And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I any man what my God put into my heart to do for Jerusalem; neither was there any beast with me, save the beast that I rode upon.

¹⁷ For God did put in their hearts to do his mind, and to come to one mind, and to give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.

¹⁶ Be not deceived, my beloved brethren.

¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning.

⁵ Trust ye not in a neighbor; put ye not confidence in a friend; keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.

¹³ Therefore he that is prudent shall keep silence in such a time; for it is an evil time.

⁴⁰ and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good; and I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.

³³ But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith Jehovah: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people:

⁷ a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

⁶ Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: They shall prosper that love thee.

¹⁸ Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: Build thou the walls of Jerusalem.

²⁷ Blessed be Jehovah, the God of our fathers, who hath put such a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of Jehovah which is in Jerusalem;

³² Now therefore, up by night, thou and the people that are with thee, and lie in wait in the field:

²⁷ Then Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as Jehovah had spoken unto him: and it came to pass, because he feared his father's household and the men of the city, so that he could not do it by day, that he did it by night.

¹⁶ But thanks be to God, who putteth the same earnest care for you into the heart of Titus.

¹⁶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

¹⁴ And he arose and took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt;

⁹ Joshua therefore came upon them suddenly; `for' he went up from Gilgal all the night.

²² And he rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two handmaids, and his eleven children, and passed over the ford of the Jabbok.

²³ And he took them, and sent them over the stream, and sent over that which he had.

²⁴ And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
