⁴⁰ Of the children of Asher, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

¹² And Zilpah Leah's handmaid bare Jacob a second son.

¹³ And Leah said, Happy am I! for the daughters will call me happy: and she called his name Asher.

²⁷ and the sons of Joseph, who were born to him in Egypt, were two souls: all the souls of the house of Jacob, that came into Egypt, were threescore and ten.

²⁰ Out of the Asher his bread shall be fat, And he shall yield royal dainties.

⁴⁴ The sons of Asher after their families: of Imnah, the family of the Imnites; of Ishvi, the family of the Ishvites; of Beriah, the family of the Berites.

⁴⁵ Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.

⁴⁶ And the name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.

⁴⁷ These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those that were numbered of them, fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
