¹⁰ Who can count the dust of Jacob, Or number the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, And let my last end be like his!

³⁷ Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright; For there is a `happy' end to the man of peace.

¹⁶ And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: So that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then may thy seed also be numbered.

¹⁵ Precious in the sight of Jehovah Is the death of his saints.

¹³ And I heard the voice from heaven saying, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.

¹⁴ And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. And in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

¹³ And I think it right, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;

¹⁴ knowing that the putting off of my tabernacle cometh swiftly, even as our Lord Jesus Christ signified unto me.

¹⁵ Yea, I will give diligence that at every time ye may be able after my decease to call these things to remembrance.

⁶ For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure is come.

⁷ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith:

⁸ henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give to me at that day; and not to me only, but also to all them that have loved his appearing.

²¹ For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

²² But if to live in the flesh, --`if' this shall bring fruit from my work, then what I shall choose I know not.

²³ But I am in a strait betwixt the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ; for it is very far better:

¹ For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.

⁵³ For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

⁵⁴ But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

⁵⁵ O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?

⁵⁶ The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law:

⁵⁷ but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

²¹ Wherefore let no one glory in men. For all things are yours;

²² whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

²⁹ Now lettest thou thy servant depart, Lord, According to thy word, in peace;

³⁰ For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

¹ The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart; and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil `to come'.

² He entereth into peace; they rest in their beds, each one that walketh in his uprightness.

³² The wicked is thrust down in his evil-doing; But the righteous hath a refuge in his death.

³¹ All that were numbered of the camp of Dan were a hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred. They shall set forth hindmost by their standards.

²⁴ All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were a hundred thousand and eight thousand and a hundred, according to their hosts. And they shall set forth third.

¹⁶ All that were numbered of the camp of Reuben were a hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, according to their hosts. And they shall set forth second.

⁹ All that were numbered of the camp of Judah were a hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred, according to their hosts. They shall set forth first.

¹⁷ that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is upon the seashore. And thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.
