⁹ For they shall be a chaplet of grace unto thy head, And chains about thy neck.

⁹ She will give to thy head a chaplet of grace; A crown of beauty will she deliver to thee.

²⁹ Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with purple, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.

⁴² And Pharaoh took off his signet ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;

²² So shall they be life unto thy soul, And grace to thy neck.

³ Whose `adorning' let it not be the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on apparel;

⁴ but `let it be' the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible `apparel' of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

⁹ In like manner, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefastness and sobriety; not with braided hair, and gold or pearls or costly raiment;

¹⁰ but (which becometh women professing godliness) through good works.

¹⁶ But I have heard of thee, that thou canst give interpretations, and dissolve doubts; now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with purple, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.

⁷ The king cried aloud to bring in the enchanters, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. The king spake and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whosoever shall read this writing, and show me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with purple, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.

¹¹ And I decked thee with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.

¹⁹ the pendants, and the bracelets, and the mufflers;

⁹ Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, `my' bride; Thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, With one chain of thy neck.

¹⁰ Thy cheeks are comely with plaits `of hair', Thy neck with strings of jewels.

²⁰ My son, keep the commandment of thy father, And forsake not the law of thy mother:

²¹ Bind them continually upon thy heart; Tie them about thy neck.
