¹⁵ She riseth also while it is yet night, And giveth food to her household, And their task to her maidens.

⁴² And the Lord said, Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall set over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?

¹¹ in diligence not slothful; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

¹ And Joshua rose up early in the morning; and they removed from Shittim, and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel; and they lodged there before they passed over.

¹⁵ And Jehovah, the God of their fathers, sent to them by his messengers, rising up early and sending, because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling-place:

¹⁴⁷ I anticipated the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy words.

¹⁴⁸ Mine eyes anticipated the night-watches, That I might meditate on thy word.

¹³ Love not sleep, let thou come to poverty; Open thine eyes, `and' thou shalt be satisfied with bread.

¹⁰ Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do `it' with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, whither thou goest.

³⁵ And in the morning, a great while before day, he rose up and went out, and departed into a desert place, and there prayed.
