³⁵ He will not regard any ransom; Neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.

¹ Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him Jehovah had given victory unto Syria: he was also a mighty man of valor, `but he was' a leper.

³ For I was a son unto my father, Tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.

¹³ So she caught him, and kissed him, `And' with an impudent face she said unto him:

²⁵ Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills was I brought forth;

⁹ And the mean man is bowed down, and the great man is brought low: therefore forgive them not.

⁹ Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have had respect of persons in the law.
