¹⁶ I have spread my couch with carpets of tapestry, With striped cloths of the yarn of Egypt.

⁹ Moreover they that work in combed flax, and they that weave white cloth, shall be confounded.

⁷ Of fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was thy sail, that it might be to thee for an ensign; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was thine awning.

²⁸ And the horses which Solomon had were brought out of Egypt; and the king's merchants received them in droves, each drove at a price.

²² She maketh for herself carpets of tapestry; Her clothing is fine linen and purple.

⁹ King Solomon made himself a palanquin Of the wood of Lebanon.

¹⁰ He made the pillars thereof of silver, The bottom thereof of gold, the seat of it of purple, The midst thereof being paved with love, From the daughters of Jerusalem.

²² Behold, I cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of her works.
