⁶ For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous; But the way of the wicked shall perish.

⁷ Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that take refuge in him.

¹⁹ Howbeit the firm foundation of God standeth, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his: and, Let every one that nameth the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness.

¹⁴ I am the good shepherd; and I know mine own, and mine own know me,

¹⁸ Jehovah knoweth the days of the perfect; And their inheritance shall be for ever.

¹⁹ They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil; And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

²⁰ But the wicked shall perish, And the enemies of Jehovah shall be as the fat of lambs: They shall consume; In smoke shall they consume away.

²¹ The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again; But the righteous dealeth graciously, and giveth.

²² For such as are blessed of him shall inherit the land; And they that are cursed of him shall be cut off.

²³ A man's goings are established of Jehovah; And he delighteth in his way.

²⁴ Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For Jehovah upholdeth him with his hand.

⁹ The way of the wicked is an abomination to Jehovah; But he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.

⁹ Jehovah preserveth the sojourners; He upholdeth the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

¹ O Jehovah, thou hast searched me, and known `me'.

² Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising; Thou understandest my thought afar off.

⁶ The enemy are come to an end, they are desolate for ever; And the cities which thou hast overthrown, The very remembrance of them is perished.

¹² But these, as creatures without reason, born mere animals to be taken and destroyed, railing in matters whereof they are ignorant, shall in their destroying surely be destroyed,

²⁷ My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

¹⁰ But he knoweth the way that I take; When he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

¹³ Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby.

¹² There is a way which seemeth right unto a man; But the end thereof are the ways of death.

³ When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, Thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walk Have they hidden a snare for me.

¹⁰ The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: The desire of the wicked shall perish.
