¹ Bless Jehovah, O my soul. O Jehovah my God, thou art very great; Thou art clothed with honor and majesty:

²² Bless Jehovah, all ye his works, In all places of his dominion: Bless Jehovah, O my soul.

¹ Jehovah reigneth; he is clothed with majesty; Jehovah is clothed with strength; he hath girded himself therewith: The world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

¹⁷ And he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a mantle.

³ Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised; And his greatness is unsearchable.

³⁵ Let sinners be consumed out of the earth. And let the wicked be no more. Bless Jehovah, O my soul. Praise ye Jehovah.

¹ Bless Jehovah, O my soul; And all that is within me, `bless' his holy name.

² Bless Jehovah, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits:

⁶ Honor and majesty are before him: Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

¹³ and in the midst of the candlesticks one like unto a son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about at the breasts with a golden girdle.

¹⁴ And his head and his hair were white as white wool, `white' as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

¹⁵ and his feet like unto burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace; and his voice as the voice of many waters.

¹⁶ And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as one dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last,

¹⁸ and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

¹⁹ Write therefore the things which thou sawest, and the things which are, and the things which shall come to pass hereafter;

²⁰ the mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks are seven churches.

¹² Art not thou from everlasting, O Jehovah my God, my Holy One? we shall not die. O Jehovah, thou hast ordained him for judgment; and thou, O Rock, hast established him for correction.

⁴ And I prayed unto Jehovah my God, and made confession, and said, Oh, Lord, the great and dreadful God, who keepeth covenant and lovingkindness with them that love him and keep his commandments,

⁹ I beheld till thrones were placed, and one that was ancient of days did sit: his raiment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames, `and' the wheels thereof burning fire.

¹⁷ Ah Lord Jehovah! behold, thou hast made the heavens and the earth by thy great power and by thine outstretched arm; there is nothing too hard for thee,

¹⁸ who showest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them; the great, the mighty God, Jehovah of hosts is his name;

¹⁹ great in counsel, and mighty in work; whose eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men, to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:

²⁴ Can any hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him? saith Jehovah. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith Jehovah.

¹ Ascribe unto Jehovah, O ye sons of the mighty, Ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength.

² Ascribe unto Jehovah the glory due unto his name; Worship Jehovah in holy array.

³ The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters: The God of glory thundereth, Even Jehovah upon many waters.

⁴ The voice of Jehovah is powerful; The voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.

¹ O Jehovah my God, in thee do I take refuge: Save me from all them that pursue me, and deliver me,
