¹³ He watereth the mountains from his chambers: The earth is filled with the fruit of thy works.

¹³ when he uttereth his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries.

⁸ Who covereth the heavens with clouds, Who prepareth rain for the earth, Who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

²² Are there any among the vanities of the nations that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O Jehovah our God? therefore we will wait for thee; for thou hast made all these things.

¹¹ but the land, whither ye go over to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, `and' drinketh water of the rain of heaven,

¹⁷ And yet He left not himself without witness, in that he did good and gave you from heaven rains and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness.

⁴⁵ that ye may be sons of your Father who is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sendeth rain on the just and the unjust.

⁶ `it is' he that buildeth his chambers in the heavens, and hath founded his vault upon the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth; Jehovah is his name.

³ Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters; Who maketh the clouds his chariot; Who walketh upon the wings of the wind;

⁹ Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it, Thou greatly enrichest it; The river of God is full of water: Thou providest them grain, when thou hast so prepared the earth.

¹⁰ Thou waterest its furrows abundantly; Thou settlest the ridges thereof: Thou makest it soft with showers; Thou blessest the springing thereof.

¹¹ Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; And thy paths drop fatness.

¹² They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness; And the hills are girded with joy.

³⁷ Who can number the clouds by wisdom? Or who can pour out the bottles of heaven,

²⁵ Who hath cleft a channel for the waterflood, Or the way for the lightning of the thunder;

²⁶ To cause it to rain on a land where no man is; On the wilderness, wherein there is no man;

²⁷ To satisfy the waste and desolate `ground', And to cause the tender grass to spring forth?

²⁸ Hath the rain a father? Or who hath begotten the drops of dew?
