²⁷ They set among them his signs, And wonders in the land of Ham.

⁴³ How he set his signs in Egypt, And his wonders in the field of Zoan,

⁴⁴ And turned their rivers into blood, And their streams, so that they could not drink.

⁴⁵ He sent among them swarms of flies, which devoured them; And frogs, which destroyed them.

⁴⁶ He gave also their increase unto the caterpillar, And their labor unto the locust.

⁴⁷ He destroyed their vines with hail, And their sycomore-trees with frost.

⁴⁸ He gave over their cattle also to the hail, And their flocks to hot thunderbolts.

⁴⁹ He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, Wrath, and indignation, and trouble, A band of angels of evil.

⁵⁰ He made a path for his anger; He spared not their soul from death, But gave their life over to the pestilence,

⁵¹ And smote all the first-born in Egypt, The chief of their strength in the tents of Ham.

²⁰ who didst set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, both in Israel and among `other' men; and madest thee a name, as at this day;

²¹ and didst bring forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terror;

¹¹ Then he remembered the days of old, Moses `and' his people, `saying', Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit in the midst of them?

¹² that caused his glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses? that divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name?

⁸ Who smote the first-born of Egypt, Both of man and beast;

⁹ Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, Upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants;

²² Wondrous works in the land of Ham, `And' terrible things by the Red Sea.

²⁸ He sent darkness, and made it dark; And they rebelled not against his words.

²³ Israel also came into Egypt; And Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

¹⁰ and showedst signs and wonders upon Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the people of his land; for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them, and didst get thee a name, as it is this day.

¹¹ And thou didst divide the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; and their pursuers thou didst cast into the depths, as a stone into the mighty waters.

³⁴ Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of `another' nation, by trials, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that Jehovah your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

¹ And Jehovah said unto Moses, See, I have made thee as God to Pharaoh; and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.

² Thou shalt speak all that I command thee; and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.

³ And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.

⁴ But Pharaoh will not hearken unto you, and I will lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth my hosts, my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

⁵ And the Egyptians shall know that I am Jehovah, when I stretch forth my hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.

⁶ And Moses and Aaron did so; as Jehovah commanded them, so did they.

⁷ And Moses was fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh.

⁸ And Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

⁹ When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Show a wonder for you; then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it down before Pharaoh, that it become a serpent.

¹⁰ And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so, as Jehovah had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

¹¹ Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers: and they also, the magicians of Egypt, did in like manner with their enchantments.
