⁴⁵ And he remembered for them his covenant, And repented according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.

⁸ He hath remembered his covenant for ever, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations,

¹⁶ Answer me, O Jehovah; for thy lovingkindness is good: According to the multitude of thy tender mercies turn thou unto me.

¹⁸ And when Jehovah raised them up judges, then Jehovah was with the judge, and saved them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented Jehovah because of their groaning by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.

³² For though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.

⁷ I will make mention of the lovingkindnesses of Jehovah, `and' the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.

¹³ Return, O Jehovah; how long? And let it repent thee concerning thy servants.

¹ Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: According to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

⁷¹ Salvation from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;

⁷² To show mercy towards, our fathers, And to remember his holy covenant;

⁶ Jehovah repented concerning this: this also shall not be, saith the Lord Jehovah.

³ Jehovah repented concerning this: It shall not be, saith Jehovah.

⁸ How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? `how' shall I cast thee off, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? `how' shall I set thee as Zeboiim? my heart is turned within me, my compassions are kindled together.

¹⁴ For Jehovah will judge his people, And repent himself concerning his servants.

²³ But Jehovah was gracious unto them, and had compassion on them, and had respect unto them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as yet.

¹⁶ And when the angel stretched out his hand toward Jerusalem to destroy it, Jehovah repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough; now stay thy hand. And the angel of Jehovah was by the threshing-floor of Araunah the Jebusite.

³⁶ For Jehovah will judge his people, And repent himself for his servants; When he seeth that `their' power is gone, And there is none `remaining', shut up or left at large.

⁴⁰ And they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, in their trespass which they trespassed against me, and also that, because they walked contrary unto me,

⁴¹ I also walked contrary unto them, and brought them into the land of their enemies: if then their uncircumcised heart be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity;

⁴² then will I remember my covenant with Jacob; and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

¹⁴ And Jehovah repented of the evil which he said he would do unto his people.
