²¹ But deal thou with me, O Jehovah the Lord, for thy name's sake: Because thy lovingkindness is good, deliver thou me;

⁹ Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name; And deliver us, and forgive our sins, for thy name's sake.

¹⁰ Wherefore should the nations say, Where is their God? Let the avenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed Be known among the nations in our sight.

¹⁶ Answer me, O Jehovah; for thy lovingkindness is good: According to the multitude of thy tender mercies turn thou unto me.

³ Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise thee.

³ For thou art my rock and my fortress; Therefore for thy name's sake lead me and guide me.

¹¹ For thy name's sake, O Jehovah, Pardon mine iniquity, for it is great.

⁸ and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient `even' unto death, yea, the death of the cross.

⁹ Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name;

¹⁰ that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of `things' in heaven and `things' on earth and `things' under the earth,

¹¹ and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

¹ These things spake Jesus; and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that the son may glorify thee:

¹¹ Quicken me, O Jehovah, for thy name's sake: In thy righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.

¹² And in thy lovingkindness cut off mine enemies, And destroy all them that afflict my soul; For I am thy servant. Psalm 144 `A Psalm' of David.

¹⁵ But thou, O Lord, art a God merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness and truth.

⁵ For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness unto all them that call upon thee.

²⁹ But I am poor and sorrowful: Let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.

⁷ How precious is thy lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.

⁸ They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; And thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

⁹ For with thee is the fountain of life: In thy light shall we see light.

³ He restoreth my soul: He guideth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
