² Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising; Thou understandest my thought afar off.

⁴ And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

²⁷ But I know thy sitting down, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy raging against me.

¹¹ Jehovah knoweth the thoughts of man, That they are vanity.

²⁴ But Jesus did not trust himself unto them, for that he knew all men,

²⁵ and because he needed not that any one should bear witness concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.

³ The eyes of Jehovah are in every place, Keeping watch upon the evil and the good.

⁴⁷ But when Jesus saw the reasoning of their heart, he took a little child, and set him by his side,

¹⁰ For who hath despised the day of small things? for these seven shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel; `these are' the eyes of Jehovah, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

¹⁰ Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: It shall come to pass in that day, that things shall come into thy mind, and thou shalt devise an evil device:

¹¹ and thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates;

²⁸ But I know thy sitting down, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy raging against me.

⁸ Thou numberest my wanderings: Put thou my tears into thy bottle; Are they not in thy book?

¹² And one of his servants said, Nay, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.

¹³ And she called the name of Jehovah that spake unto her, Thou art a God that seeth: for she said, Have I even here looked after him that seeth me?

⁵ Wherefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall each man have his praise from God.

¹⁷ Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Art thou he of whom I spake in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, that prophesied in those days for `many' years that I would bring thee against them?
