⁶ Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; He will answer him from his holy heaven With the saving strength of his right hand.

⁸ Jehovah is their strength, And he is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.

³¹ Him did God exalt with his right hand `to be' a Prince and a Saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins.

¹⁰ be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, `even' in him doth this man stand here before you whole.

³⁶ Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly, that God hath made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.

³³ Being therefore by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he hath poured forth this, which ye see and hear.

⁹ After this manner therefore pray ye. Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

¹⁵ Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where are thy zeal and thy mighty acts? the yearning of thy heart and thy compassions are restrained toward me.

⁹ Then shalt thou call, and Jehovah will answer; thou shalt cry, and he will say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking wickedly;

¹⁵ For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

²⁰ I have found David my servant; With my holy oil have I anointed him:

²¹ With whom my hand shall be established; Mine arm also shall strengthen him.

²² The enemy shall not exact from him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

²³ And I will beat down his adversaries before him, And smite them that hate him.

¹¹ By this I know that thou delightest in me, Because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

³⁵ Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation; And thy right hand hath holden me up, And thy gentleness hath made me great.

⁷ Show thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them that take refuge `in thee 'From those that rise up `against them'.

² The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against Jehovah, and against his anointed, `saying',

⁴³ hear thou in heaven thy dwelling-place, and do according to all that the foreigner calleth to thee for; that all the peoples of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as doth thy people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by my name.

³⁰ And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: yea, hear thou in heaven thy dwelling-place; and when thou hearest, forgive.
