⁹ Hide not thy face from me; Put not thy servant away in anger: Thou hast been my help; Cast me not off, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

¹⁷ And hide not thy face from thy servant; For I am in distress; answer me speedily.

⁷ Make haste to answer me, O Jehovah; my spirit faileth: Hide not thy face from me, Lest I become like them that go down into the pit.

² Hide not thy face from me in the day of my distress: Incline thine ear unto me; In the day when I call answer me speedily.

⁵ He shall receive a blessing from Jehovah, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.

² but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, so that he will not hear.

⁴⁰ and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good; and I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.

⁹ yea, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raiseth the dead:

¹⁰ who delivered us out of so great a death, and will deliver: on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us;

¹⁷ But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me; that through me the message might me fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

¹⁸ The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom `be' the glory forever and ever. Amen.

⁵ Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee.

³ Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, that have been borne `by me' from their birth, that have been carried from the womb;

⁴ and even to old age I am he, and even to hoar hairs will I carry `you'; I have made, and I will bear; yea, I will carry, and will deliver.

¹²¹ AYIN. I have done justice and righteousness: Leave me not to mine oppressors.

⁹ And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Jehovah searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

¹ How long, O Jehovah? wilt thou forget me for ever? How long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

²¹ Forsake me not, O Jehovah: O my God, be not far from me.

²⁴ Wherefore hidest thou thy face, And forgettest our affliction and our oppression?

¹¹ Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy Spirit from me.

⁵ For thou art my hope, O Lord Jehovah: `Thou art' my trust from my youth.

⁶ By thee have I been holden up from the womb; Thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: My praise shall be continually of thee.

¹⁷ O God, thou hast taught me from my youth; And hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.

¹⁸ Yea, even when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not, Until I have declared thy strength unto `the next' generation, Thy might to every one that is to come.

¹ Thus saith Jehovah, Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, wherewith I have put her away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities were ye sold, and for your transgressions was your mother put away.
