⁹ We have thought on thy lovingkindness, O God, In the midst of thy temple.

³ For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes; And I have walked in thy truth.

¹⁰ I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation; I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great assembly.

¹⁹ And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and gave to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

²⁰ And the cup in like manner after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, `even' that which is poured out for you.

⁸ Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Jehovah, have we waited for thee; to thy name, even to thy memorial `name', is the desire of our soul.

⁴ Draw me; we will run after thee: The king hath brought me into his chambers; We will be glad and rejoice in thee; We will make mention of thy love more than of wine: Rightly do they love thee.

⁵ Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

⁶ O ye seed of Abraham his servant, Ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

³⁴ Let thy meditation be sweet unto him: I will rejoice in Jehovah.

¹⁰ And I said, This is my infirmity; `But I will remember' the years of the right hand of the Most High.

¹¹ I will make mention of the deeds of Jehovah; For I will remember thy wonders of old.

¹² I will meditate also upon all thy work, And muse on thy doings.

¹³ Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: Who is a great god like unto God?

¹⁴ Thou art the God that doest wonders: Thou hast made known thy strength among the peoples.

² So have I looked upon thee in the sanctuary, To see thy power and thy glory.

³ Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise thee.

⁵ And Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of Jehovah, before the new court;

⁶ and he said, O Jehovah, the God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and art not thou ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? and in thy hand is power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee.

⁷ Didst not thou, O our God, drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and give it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever?

⁸ And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary therein for thy name, saying,

⁹ If evil come upon us, the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house, and before thee, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, and thou wilt hear and save.

¹⁰ And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned aside from them, and destroyed them not;

¹¹ behold, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit.

¹² O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but out eyes are upon thee.

¹³ And all Judah stood before Jehovah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.
