³ For thou hast been a refuge for me, A strong tower from the enemy.

¹⁰ The name of Jehovah is a strong tower; The righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

⁷ With God is my salvation and my glory: The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

² Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, Therefore will I call `upon him' as long as I live.

⁷ O Jehovah the Lord, the strength of my salvation, Thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.

¹⁰ who delivered us out of so great a death, and will deliver: on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us;

⁶ Many there are that say, Who will show us `any' good? Jehovah, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

⁷ Thou hast put gladness in my heart, More than `they have' when their grain and their new wine are increased.

² Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

³ Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, that have been borne `by me' from their birth, that have been carried from the womb;

⁴ and even to old age I am he, and even to hoar hairs will I carry `you'; I have made, and I will bear; yea, I will carry, and will deliver.
