¹⁸ Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: Ransom me because of mine enemies.

²⁷ Were it not that I feared the provocation of the enemy, Lest their adversaries should judge amiss, Lest they should say, Our hand is exalted, And Jehovah hath not done all this.

⁹ He hath sent redemption unto his people; He hath commanded his covenant for ever: Holy and reverend is his name.

¹⁵ But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol; For he will receive me. Selah

⁵ Into thy hand I commend my spirit: Thou hast redeemed me, O Jehovah, thou God of truth.

¹⁹ But be not thou far off, O Jehovah: O thou my succor, haste thee to help me.

¹ My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? `Why art thou so' far from helping me, `and from' the words of my groaning?

¹ Why standest thou afar off, O Jehovah? Why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

²³ Or, Deliver me from the adversary's hand? Or, Redeem me from the hand of the oppressors?

⁹ For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear of it, and will compass us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do for thy great name?

⁸ O thou hope of Israel, the Saviour thereof in the time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a sojourner in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth aside to tarry for a night?
