¹⁰ My shield is with God, Who saveth the upright in heart.

⁴ Do good, O Jehovah, unto those that are good, And to them that are upright in their hearts.

¹⁸ Whoso walketh uprightly shall be delivered; But he that is perverse in `his' ways shall fall at once.

²⁰ They that are perverse in heart are an abomination to Jehovah; But such as are perfect in `their' way are his delight.

²¹ For the upright shall dwell in the land, And the perfect shall remain in it.

² His seed shall be mighty upon earth: The generation of the upright shall be blessed.

¹⁸ For our shield belongeth unto Jehovah; And our king to the Holy One of Israel.

¹¹ For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

¹ I love thee, O Jehovah, my strength.

² Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

³ But thou, O Jehovah, art a shield about me; My glory and the lifter up of my head.

⁶ If thou wert pure and upright: Surely now he would awake for thee, And make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.

¹ After these things the word of Jehovah came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, `and' thy exceeding great reward.
