¹ In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge: Let me never be put to shame.

² O my God, in thee have I trusted, Let me not be put to shame; Let not mine enemies triumph over me.

³ Yea, none that wait for thee shall be put to shame: They shall be put to shame that deal treacherously without cause.

¹ They that trust in Jehovah Are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever.

⁶ Because it is contained in scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: And he that believeth on him shall not be put to shame.

³³ even as it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence: And he that believeth on him shall not be put to shame.

¹⁸ Let them be put to shame that persecute me, but let not me be put to shame; let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed; bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.

¹⁷ `But' Israel shall be saved by Jehovah with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be put to shame nor confounded world without end.

⁵ Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in Jehovah his God:

²⁰ And they were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them; for they cried to God in the battle, and he was entreated of them, because they put their trust in him.

⁵ He trusted in Jehovah, the God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor `among them' that were before him.
